USE

Can use 'If so' as a conditional clause to refer a previous direct or indirect 'yes-no' question where the answer might be 'yes'.

EXAMPLE

Do you think we could meet an hour earlier? If so, we can have dinner together.

Is it possible to to change my reservation? If so, I’d like to book an extra day.
