these/ those + ones

USE

Can use 'ones' as a pronoun to substitute for plural nouns which have already been mentioned or are obvious from the context.

EXAMPLE

I like these jeans but those ones are half price.
Let’s go to the cinema early to get a seat in the front row. Those ones are always taken early. I usually don’t like wearing sunglasses but these ones are very comfortable.
